Chartism Redrawn: From Drawing Board to Board Room (adults)

After delivering at local and international schools, we are bringing our famous ‘Drawing Board to Board Room’ workshops to the community.

Partnering with local charity ‘Our Chartist Heritage’, this workshop will teach you the creative process involved in making the ‘Newport Rising: Chartism Redrawn’ comic.

What you’ll learn:

• Taking a creative idea from scratch, developing it and pitching it to a studio.
• Working in a creative team under pressure
• Presenting and clarifying your ideas

Are there any requirements to attend?

• None

Who is this course is for?

• Anyone who wants to learn about the creative process and basic drawing skills
• Content will be age specific

Do I need to bring anything?

• All course resources are supplied by us

• A greater understanding of how to put together a comic

Please note: These workshops are free and the £1 charge is to reserve your place. Upon attending and completing the workshop it will be refunded. Any non-attendance, the charge will be donated to Our Chartist Heritage.
