About the Event
In this workshop we'll be celebrating Christmas remembering the chartists by making Chartist themed Christmas-crackers.
As Christmas crackers were invented in the mid 1800's not long after the chartists marched on Newport, we'll be re-imagining this Victorian-style treat with historical themes.
Join us in bringing a little chartist spirit and Christmas spirit to Newport.
We’ll be making these chartist themed with historical imagery, little toys and historical facts about the Chartists and Newport.
Add a bit of Newport to your Christmas table.
Wrth i gracyrs Nadolig gael eu dyfeisio yng nghanol y 1800au yn fuan ar ôl i’r siartwyr orymdeithio i Gasnewydd, byddwn yn ail-ddychmygu’r wledd Fictoraidd hon gyda themâu hanesyddol.
Ymunwch â ni i ddod ag ychydig o ysbryd siartraidd ac ysbryd y Nadolig i Gasnewydd.
Byddwn yn gwneud y siartwyr hyn ar thema delweddau hanesyddol, teganau bach a ffeithiau hanesyddol am y Siartwyr a Chasnewydd.
Ychwanegwch ychydig o Gasnewydd at eich bwrdd Nadolig.
