About the Event
Step back in time and bring history to life through music! In this fun and creative workshop children (ages 8-13), you’ll learn about the Chartist movement – the people who fought for fairness and democracy – and use their inspiring stories to write your own songs.
Working together, you’ll explore lyrics, rhythms, and melodies, then record your music using professional equipment. No experience needed – just bring your ideas and imagination! Participants need to attend both sessions to complete the workshops and get the full music creation and recording experience.
Workshop is over two days on Oct 29 and 30 from 10:00 to 13:00
By the end of the session, you’ll have created and recorded an original piece of music inspired by the Chartists, combining history and creativity in your own unique way.
Age group: 8–13 years
What to expect:
