On Saturday the 14th November a small group of volunteers will march in the footsteps of the Chartists, beginning in Blackwood and ending 27km and approximately 7 hours later at the Westgate Hotel. Later parts will be in darkness and the group will light torches to remember the 22 that died in the fight for democracy in 1839.
