Find out what happened to the Tip Girls who fought for over a hundred years to keep their jobs and reputations. Society was horrified that women were working in such a dirty industrial environment, close to men, and Parliament decided it was their responsibility to 'save' these women. Tip Girls had other ideas and eventually marched on Westminster appealing to be left alone. New research from census returns and newspaper accounts has uncovered over 1,500 named women who worked in the Welsh coalfields.
Tickets Free/Pay What You Want - all proceeds to registered charity Our Chartist Heritage (1176673) and used to fund Newport Rising Festival and education programmes.

Dewch i weld beth ddigwyddodd i'r Tip Girls a frwydrodd am dros ganrif i gadw eu swyddi a'u henw da. Roedd cymdeithas wedi ei brawychu bod menywod yn gweithio mewn amgylchedd diwydiannol budr, yn agos at ddynion, ac penderfynodd Senedd mai eu cyfrifoldeb nhw oedd 'achub' y menywod hyn. Roedd gan y Tip Girls syniadau eraill ac yn y pen draw gorymdeithiodd ar San Steffan gan apelio i'w gadael ar eu pennau eu hunain. Mae ymchwil newydd o gofnodion cyfrifiad ac adroddiadau papurau newydd wedi datgelu dros 1,500 o fenywod enwog a weithiodd ym maes glo Cymru.
Tocynnau Am Ddim / Talwch Beth Fyddwch Eisiau - mae'r holl elw yn mynd i'r elusen gofrestredig Our Chartist Heritage (1176673) ac yn cael ei ddefnyddio i ariannu Gŵyl Newport Rising a rhaglenni addysgol.
