William Foster Geach, Solicitor to John Frost - with David Mills

William Foster Geach was not only John frost's stepson, but his solicior during the trial held in monmouth following the Newport Rising. The talk will cover Geach's life in relation to the chartist movement and deportation of chartist leaders, from, Newport, pontypool, Shire Hall in monmouth, Sterling Castle hulk upon which Geach spent a short time and Van Diemen's land. David Mills who has studied and written a book on Geach will be giving this lecture.
