Re-launching the Rising (day event)

Join us for a launch event on Wednesday, 28th June at the Westgate Hotel. From 12-4pm the doors of the Westgate will be open and a new exhibition of Chartist displays and artefacts from Blaina Museum available to view, plus talks from local history experts. We will also unveil our plans for the new city centre location and what we’ll be bringing to the city centre over the next two years including an exciting partnership with the Wales Official Tourist Guide Association.

Schools are invited to bring pupils to receive dedicated talks and learning sessions at the Westgate. Please email info@newportrising.co.uk to arrange a suitable time and discuss.

Entry is free but subject to capacity. Please reserve your space by registering. This ticket does not include access to the evening event. If you intend to attend both, please reserve your evening ticket separately.
